A rendezvény nemcsak a szakmai közönségnek szól, hanem azok számára is érdekes lehet, akik szeretnének betekintést nyerni a tudomány világába anélkül, hogy mély előzetes ismeretekkel rendelkeznének. Programok és érdekességek: A Kutatók Éjszakája események között a PPKE BTK budapesti campusain (Danubianum és Sophianum) megtalálhatóak a Történettudományi Intézet által szervezett, az ókor- és középkortudománnyal kapcsolatos előadások, társadalomtörténeti workshop és könyvbemutató is. A Régészettudományi Intézet előadásai immáron hagyományosan a legfrissebb eredményekbe avatja be a hallgatóságot. A Pszichológiai Intézet előadásai és workshopjai mellett a kutatólaboratórium is bemutatkozik. Az Orosz Tanszék filmvetítése és a Művészettörténeti Tanszék beszélgetése izgalmas problémák feltárására tesz kísérletet, míg a Kommunikáció- és Médiatudományi Intézet sajtótörténeti előadása és stúdióbemutatója igyekszik a média világát közelebb hozni a látogatókhoz.
